Open to boys and girls who live in, or are educated in, the historic county of Lincolnshire — including North & North-East Lincolnshire.

Who can enter

Eligibility

Applications are welcomed from boys and girls who live in, or are educated in, the historic county of Lincolnshire, including North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire. Competitors may enter more than one category.

There are two age groups (ages taken at 31 August 2026) and separate competitions for instrumentalists and vocalists.

Applications are made by video submission. You'll receive an email within 2 days of submitting to confirm receipt, followed by a phone call explaining how the rest of the process will be conducted.

New for under-11s

LN11 Junior Competition

On the morning of Saturday 31 October 2026 we welcome juniors (Under 11s) to join us in the Conoco Room, Louth Library for a singing competition followed by an instrumental competition. Maximum performance length is 10 minutes per category.

Entries are accepted from Under 11s who reside in, or attend school in, an LN11 postcode. No audition tapes required — email the organiser and details will be provided.

Winners and runners-up will receive shields and certificates. Some category winners will also receive cups, retained until the following year's competition.

The Final

On the day

Those selected by adjudicators will perform at Louth Methodist Church, Nichol Hill, Louth, LN11 9NQ on Saturday 7 November 2026. The maximum length for a performance in each category is 10 minutes. All performers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult responsible for their conduct and safety.

All performers receive constructive feedback from experienced adjudicators. The decisions of the adjudicators are final.
