A Lincolnshire tradition, in its fourth decade.

Founded in Louth and singing across Lincolnshire for many decades, the Louth Male Voice Choir has organised the Lincolnshire Young Musician of the Year competition every year since 1989. What began as a small platform for local talent has grown into one of the county's most respected platforms for young vocalists and instrumentalists.

The competition is open to boys and girls who live in, or are educated in, the historic county of Lincolnshire — including North Lincolnshire and North East Lincolnshire. There are two main age groups, plus a separate live junior event for children in the LN11 postcode.

Adjudication is by experienced musicians, and every entrant receives constructive feedback. We aim to make the competition a positive, welcoming, and friendly event.
